La Tania ski transfers take just over 2 hours. The resort is part of the legendary ‘Trois Vallees’ or Three Valleys as it is more commonly known.
Well linked with Courchevel and Méribel, the smaller resort to its glitzy relatives offers excellent value for money combined with top-notch skiing.
First of all, a little known fact to start our guide to La Tania – the resort was built in 1992 for the Albertville Winter Olympics. The centre of the town is traffic free and the wooden clad buildings blend in nicely to the forested surroundings, making this ‘purpose-built’ resort one above the rest.
Many of the apartments and chalets are ski in ski out all season long, sometimes supplemented with snow cannons when necessary. With a handy layout lending itself to families and groups wanting the ultimate in convenience.
In addition to the advantageous positioning in the Three Valleys, the resort offers excellent value for money versus its neighbours with a range of good value accommodation options and many bars and restaurants.
Skiing in the La Tania sector of the region offers a fabulous mix of beginner areas, surrounded with beautiful sweeping tree-lined pistes.
A mix of blue runs all meeting in the middle above Courchevel-Moriond 1650 and running down into La Tania prove popular with most.
