Once again we are proud to announce that we are partners of the Dacia UTMB® Mont-Blanc, one of the most important sporting events in the world.
Ultra-Trail de Mont-Blanc (UTMB) is an extraordinary experience that combines the thrill of sports, the awe-inspiring beauty of nature, and the spirit of fellowship among athletes and spectators. We are ready to be amazed as trail running enthusiasts from around the globe conquer the epic course that winds around Mont Blanc, the highest peak in Western Europe.
With a distance of about 171 km and a positive elevation gain of 10,000 meters, the breathtaking scenery, challenging trails and electrifying atmosphere will make this an experience you will remember forever.
The runners follow a loop which most of the starter runners aim to complete in just 20 hours, with other competitors doing it over 30 to 45 hours meaning running through the night is often necessary. Other races across the week mean that over 10,000 participants competing at various levels now attend the festival and Chamonix becomes a bustle with many spectators also stopping by to cheer on the brave runners.
It is well known across the world and is often thought of as the most difficult race on the planet. With over 2,000 starter competitors, the Dacia UTMB Mont-Blanc in Chamonix is often the pinnacle of an ultra runner's career and year, with lots of participants training hard months in advance to compete.
Other races such as the CCC, Courmayeur, Champex Chamonix - quickly dubbed the ‘little sister’ of the Dacia UTMB Mont-Blanc, forming part of the week's events this race offers a different route to its older sibling. Following the ‘Grande Randonnée du Tour du Mont-Blanc’ the course is nearly as gruelling as the Dacia UTMB Mont-Blanc, but with slightly less ground to cover with a course length of 101km.

- PTL La Petite Trotte à Léon (approx. 300 km +28,000 m)
